WWF Abstract

The coastline of the Northwest Russian-Novaya Zemlya Tundra ecoregion is seemingly endless. This ecoregion lies along the shores of the White Sea and the Arctic Ocean, including the coastal areas of peninsulas, river deltas, and islands. This wet, low coastal tundra is a particularly important breeding and molting area for waterfowl.
