Wikipedia Abstract

Heterotoma planicornis is a species of bugs from Miridae family. The species are black coloured with green legs. The species could be found in Central, Western, and Eastern Europe except for the Baltic states, Faroe Islands, Finland, Malta and Yugoslavia. In Britain they could be found on numerous plants and trees, especially on the nettles. The nymphs and adults feed on small insects, plant buds and unripe fruits.
